To kick off the school year, Blythe Park PTA brings The Boom Troupe to perform ” Own It! Committing to Great Character”. This exciting assembly is designed to help students take ownership and responsibility over their own character. The assembly will be performed on Wednesday, August 25th at 10:00am the auditorium. Let us know how your children liked the performance.

This year’s Spring Production will be “Pinocchio” directed by Ms. Amber Carey-Gitter. Auditions for this year’s Spring Production will take place on Tuesday, April 6th and Wednesday, April 7th. The attached flyer has all of the production’s details. Please return your audition request form by Friday, March 26th to Blythe Park office. Don’t forget the Young Author deadline is approaching fast! Be sure your child’s masterpiece fulfills all Young Author requirements and is turned in accompanied by a signed permission slip. Guidelines and permission slips can be found on the Blythe Park ebackpack. 3rd grade books were due Friday, March 5th and all other grades are due Wednesday, March 17th. Happy writing!

Carole Peterson will be performing this Friday at Blythe Park School for all the kindergarteners and ECE students in District 96. The concert will be held at 1:00pm in the gym. Any families with pre-school age children, please join us for a great concert.

On Tuesday, February 23rd, District 28 PTA will honor all of the District 28 Reflections participants with a program being held at Blythe Park School at 7:00pm. All of the District 28 entries not being forwarded to the State level for judging will be on display and those whose pieces have advanced to the State level will be receiving special recognition. Come congratulate….Niela C., Colleen M. and Olivia L. for their advancement to the State level and check all the Refections entries.
