Make sure to mark your calendars for Blythe Park PTAs annual Ice Cream Social. It will take place this week on Friday, September 10th at 6:30pm in the Amphitheater (inside if weather is inclement). Bring your whole family for an ice cream sundae. After enjoying the ice cream, come to the gym to play some board games. Blythe Park PTA will hold a welcome picnic for kindergarteners and their families on Monday, August 23rd from 11:30am-12:30pm in the amphitheatre. All Kindergarteners and their families are invited to come enjoy lunch and meet their kindergarten classmates. On Wednesday, April 5th and Thursday, April 6th, Blythe Park School will be participating in National Lab Day. National Lab Day is a day dedicated to exposing children to the sciences. On this day, each of the students (individually or in small groups) will be conducting a science experiment as part of their science curriculum.
The experiment the 5th Graders will be conducting requires a 2-liter plastic bottle for each student. If your household has any empty 2-liter plastic bottles, could you please send them to school with your child and have them leave the bottles in the office.
