The PTA/O’s are sponsoring a District 96 Candidate Board of Education Forum on March 10, 2009. District 208 (Riverside/Brookfield High school) Board of Education Candidates have also been invited (considering D96 residents also vote for D208 on April 7, 2009).
We are asking for your help…
We will be formulating 2 pre-determined questions for each group of candidates. If you have a question for one set of candidates or both - please reply to: Â D96research@gmail.com
1)  Be sure to indicate to which district the question should be askedÂ

Historical Perspectives will be performing “Jane Adams” this Friday, February 27th at 2:00pm in the auditorium. We invite AM Kindergarten students to come back to school in the afternoon for the performance.

The Box Top Committee is sponsoring a coloring contest. Have your child(ren) color the attached coloring sheet and return to the Blythe Park school office by Thursday, February 5th. Coloring sheets will also be coming home in your child(rens) back pack this week. A great prize will awarded to the winner and all entries will be displayed at school. Remember to keep clipping those box tops. Each one is worth a $.10 for Blythe Park School. See the attached flyer.

Blythe Park PTA’s Bargain Book and More sale is April 3rd and 4th. We are currently accepting donation of used books, cds and dvds. Please drop them in the container outside the school office. Any questions, contact Lisa Gaynor at 442-4509 or Carol Barolw at 447-2628.

Hauser Jr. High’s annual PRIDE garage sale will be held on Saturday, February 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Proceeds from the sale go toward the cost of the 8th grade PRIDE trip to Louisville, Kentucky. This year, 96 of Hauser’s 8th graders will be attending the conference from April 8th to April 11th. Hauser is looking for donations for items to be sold at the garage sale. Donations may be dropped off Friday, February 27th from 3:30 to 8:00 p.m. Please bring your donations to the Band Room door off the parking lot behind Hauser.

The February Board of Education Meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 17th at 7:30pm at Ames School. Please see the attached agenda for the meeting. The Building Committee will hold a meeting prior to the Board of Education Meeting at 6:00pm.
