This week is Geography Week at Blythe Park. Please encourage your child to wear the following geography shirts:
Tuesday, March 31st - Wear a location shirt (city, state, county, etc.)
Wednesday April 1st - Wear a sport’s team shirt
Thursday, April 2nd - Wear a shirt with an animal
Friday, April 3rd - Wear your Blythe Park shirt

We are looking for volunteers to help with the Bargain Books and More sale being held this Friday, April 3rd from 4:00-7:00pm and Saturday, April 4th from 9:00am-1:00pm. If you are available to help with any of the open slots below, please reply back to blytheparkpta@yahoo.com by Wednesday, April 1st. A complete volunteer schedule will be forward to all volunteers by Thursday, April 2nd.

Auditions for this year’s Spring Production will take place on Monday, March 30th and Tuesday, March 31st. If you forgot to turn in your audition reservation form and your child(ren) would still like to audition, please contact Lisa Gaynor at 442-4509 as soon as possible.

Bring your whole family to Geography Week’s finale… The Great American Geography Challenge! Blythe Park PTA will hold the challenge on Friday, April 3rd at 6:30pm in the auditorium. The challenge will feature grade by grade competitions as well as an adult round!

Come get some great deals as Blythe Park PTA’s annual used book sale…Bargain Books & More. This year’s sale will be held on Friday, April 3rd from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and on Saturday, April 4th from 9:00am -1:00pm. The sale will feature used adult and children’s books, movies, educational stuff and more!

April’s Fitness Friday will feature Golf. The Blythe Park students will learn golf from Golf professional Lou Folarte. Flagg Creek Golf Club will be supplying the golf equipment for the students to use.

Blythe Park PTA’s April meeting will be held this Friday, April 3rd at 9:00am in the lunch/music room. Babysitting will be available in the Library. Refreshments will be served.

Blythe Park PTA’s All American Bake Sale will be held Tuesday, April 7th from 8:00am-1:00pm. We will need lots of bakers for a successful bake sale. If you are interested in baking, reply back to blytheparkpta@yahoo.com with what you will be baking by Thursday, April 2nd. If possible, please drop off your baked goods at the school office on Monday, April 6th. For those of you who signed up at the last PTA meeting, there is no need to reply. Any questions, please contact Lisa Gaynor at 442-4509 or Carol Barlow at 447-2628.
