Blythe Park PTA’s October Meeting will be held on Friday, October 2nd at 9:00am in the music room. Come find out about PTA’s upcoming October events. District 96’s Director of Special Education and Assessment Systems – Dr. Mary Polk will be joining us to educate us on everything there is to know about special education resources in District 96. Refreshments will be served. Babysitting will be available in the art room.

Riverside Bank will be at school this Friday, October 2nd. For those of you with accounts, encourage your children to bring their deposits to school in a sealed envelope with their name on it. While we’re not doing a school-wide Innisbrook fundraiser this year, we heard that there are some families who would still like to order. We have made an arrangement with Innisbrook to take orders online via www.innisbrook.com. Please enter our school number (102395) so we receive the credit for your order. Each spring, PTA holds a sale called Bargain Books and More - a sale of used adult and children’s books, DVDs and VHS tapes. All year long, we collect donations for the sale. If you have any materials to donate, please place them in the collection bin outside the school office at your convenience. This year, we are in particular need of children’s chapter books. Blythe Park PTA’s annual Ice Cream Social will take place this Friday, September 25th at 6:30pm in the Amphitheater (inside if weather is inclement). Bring your whole family for an ice cream sundae. PTA is selling Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits - the perfect quick dinner for your family. Attached is the flyer and order form. Orders are due to the school office by Friday, September 25th. Checks can be made payable to Blythe Park PTA. Orders will be delivered on Tuesday, October 6th between 2p.m. and 4 p.m. You must be available to pick up at that time, as we have no freezer space at school.
