Halloween Festivities - Friday, October 30th

Blythe Park will celebrate Halloween this Friday with a costume parade and a Halloween play. The parade will start at 1:00pm in the outside amphitheater (weather permitting) with each grade showing off their costumes! Right after the parade, the Halloween play “Blythe School Musical Meets the Phantom” will be performed by PTA parents in the auditorium. Please be reminded, we will have an extended lunch from 11:35am to 1:00pm. Make sure to bring the whole family for some Halloween fun. Younger siblings will parade too! So, dress the siblings in costumes too!

You’re invited to Blythe Park’s November PTA meeting! The meeting will be next Thursday, November 5th at 7:00pm. This month’s meeting will focus on Health. School Nurse Cindy Dore will be joining us to talk about Flu, Lice and other topics related to having healthy kids. We look forward to seeing you!

PTA’s Reflections Program is a program that for 40 years has encouraged students across the nation to explore their artistic talent. Encourage your child to interpret this year’s them “Beauty Is” into one of the six art categories. For all the program details, please read the attachments below. Trick or Treat for UNICEF

The Blythe Park Student Council will be organizing a school wide UNICEF fundraiser. UNICEF TRICK OR TREAT BOXES will be distributed to all students on Friday, October 30th. The students will be asked to collect money while trick or treating. In school, the students will be learning about UNICEF and how the money they collect will help others in need around the world. ALL MONEY COLLECTED SHOULD BE SENT TO SCHOOL BY THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH. Last year Blythe Park Students collected over $500! Any questions, contract Mrs. King at kingr@district96.org.
