Mrs. Ekstrom, our art teacher, reuses food containers in various ways in the art room!! Go green and help the art room at the same time. Please save the following items over the summer and bring them in at the beginning of the school year: 16 ounce yogurt/cottage cheese tubs, sour cream containers, aluminum pans, egg cartons, yogurt cups, and brown bags. Thanks!
This summer when you attend all those picnics and BBQs with your family, make sure to collect the empty Fritolay Bags. We will be sending in the Fritolay bags to Terra Cycle to earn money for Blythe Park school. Attached is a partial list of the products to collect and turn into school in the Fall.
The Art Room’s supply of brown paper bags is low. If your family has an excess of brown paper bags and would like to send them to school for use in the art room, please drop them off in the office.
We would like to thank all the families who donated money through the Blythe Park Plant Sale. We appreciate your generous contributions to the Butterfly Garden and the Blythe Park LIving Classroom. The first graders are planting zinnias in the Butterfly Garden. We are also able to replenish lost or damaged plants to the school gardens.
Thank you,
Judy Sayre & Helen Bryan
