Picture Day will be held this Thursday, September 9th. If purchasing pictures, don’t forget to send your picture package with your children. New this year you may purchase pictures through the Life Touch website www.lifetouch.com. All pictures purchased electronically must be done prior to Thursday’s picture day.

Ice Scream Social is this Friday, September 10th

Make sure to mark your calendars for Blythe Park PTAs annual Ice Cream Social. It will take place this week on Friday, September 10th at 6:30pm in the Amphitheater (inside if weather is inclement). Bring your whole family for an ice cream sundae. After enjoying the ice cream, come to the gym to play some board games. 5th Grade Instrumental Music Demonstration This Week!

Do you have any 5th graders interested in playing a musical instrument? Make sure to attend the 5th Grade Instrumental Music Demonstration on Wednesday, September 8h from 5:30pm – 8:30pm or on Thursday, September 9th from 3:30pm-5:30pm at Hauser Jr. High.

Innisbrook Gifts and Gift Wrap Sale Coming Up….

Our bi-annual Innisbrook sale officially starts on September 13th. This is our biggest fundraiser, and there are lots of great gifts and gift wraps in the catalog this year! Later this week, the youngest child in each family will bring home a catalog, so you can start browsing early. Please ask your friends and family to stock up on items they need because we only run this fundraiser every other year. Any questions, call Carol Barlow at 447-2628.

District 96 will be offering some great after school programs this year…. Chess Scholars, 4th-5th Grade Choir, Games Galore, Language Stars, Jr. Engineering and Engineering. Summer Box Top$ Contest Ends Today Monday, August 30th

Our first annual Summer Box Top$ contest ends today at 3 p.m. The student who turns in the most Box Top$ by today, August 30th, will win a cool prize and have his/her photo displayed on the Box Top$ Wall of Fame at Blythe Park School. Place Box Top$ in a baggie with your child’s name on it and turn into the school office by August 30th at 3 p.m. Please call Carol Barlow 447-2628 with questions. The winner will be announced on Tuesday!
