A library reader spot is available this Wednesday to help Kindergarten PM students during their library time.

Following is the library schedule for K, 1st, and 2nd grade:

Wednesdays
AM Kindergarten: 8:30 – 8:50am
2nd Grade: 1:50 – 2:20pm
PM Kindergarten: 2:20 – 2:50pm

Thursdays
1st Grade: 12:20 – 12:50pm

Hot Lunch registration open for Dec, Jan, Feb

Registration is open for Hot Lunch – Register your student for the next three months or the remainder of the year (6 months). The Hot Lunch menu will include a slice of cheese pizza, seasonal fruit, a treat, and a drink.

If you have not registered your student by Wednesday, December 12th, they will not have the opportunity to register again for Hot Lunch until the next payment period in March.

*ATTENTION – This year, payment options will only be available in the following three-month increments. Single lunch payments will NOT be available this year. Also, no prorating, no make-up days, no refunds.

2018-2019 Hot Lunch PAYMENT Schedule –

  • PAYMENT #2 Deadline: Wednesday, December 12th
    for December, January, and February ($15 per student for 3 lunches)
    OR remainder of the year ($30 per student for 6 lunches)
  • PAYMENT #3 Deadline: Wednesday, March 13th
    for March, April, and May ($15 per student for 3 lunches)

TO REGISTER – Please click on the following button, no matter your payment method (cash, check, credit).

If paying by cash or check (payable to Blythe Park PTA) please place payment in an envelope marked with your family name and “Hot Lunch” and bring to the school office. *NOTE – This program is only for children that have the option of staying at school for lunch.

Box Tops Contest – Help your child’s class win a pizza party!

Keep clipping Box Tops and help your child’s class win a pizza party. The class with the highest number of valid Box Tops will win a pizza party for their class!

So far this year we’ve collected $215 in Box Tops!

  • Box Tops can be turned in to the office at any time either in a baggie/envelope with the student’s name/grade OR on collection sheets: Box Tops Collection Sheet
  • Be sure the Box Tops submitted are not expired (expired Box Tops do not count towards the contest).
  • Every valid Box Top submitted is worth $0.10 for the school!!

Cocoa Run this Thursday at 7:40am.

Blythe Park’s annual Cardio Kids Cocoa Run will be held this Thursday, November 29th at 7:40 am.

The Cocoa Run will take place, rain or shine. (If raining, festive exercise stations will be set up in the gymnasium.) Cookies and hot chocolate will be served in the library after the run.

Parents are welcome to attend!

Every year the PTA makes a handmade ornament for each Blythe Park student and staff member.

If you’d like to volunteer to help assemble this year’s ornaments on Monday, December 3rd and/or Wednesday, December 5th, click on the following sign up button.
