TOMORROW (Wednesday, April 4th) is the last day to turn in permission slips for 5th Grade Games Night! – PERMISSION SLIP Games Night 2018
*Every child must have a signed permission slip to attend this event.
5th Grade Games Night will be this Friday, April 6th from 5:30-8:30pm at Hauser Junior High.
5th Graders from Ames, Blythe, Central and Hollywood are invited to spend the evening together getting to know each other and their new school – Hauser Junior High! The students are grouped into teams with kids from all the D96 elementary schools. They’ll travel around Hauser with their team and play games in different areas (library, gym, cafeteria, etc).

5th Graders: Help Hauser Fight Hunger! –
Bring cans of food OR a monetary donation when you come to Games Night.
It’s time again for the annual Hauser Canned Food Drive and next year you will be part of the great Hauser tradition! For the last 48 years, students have collected and donated over 35,000 cans of food to help fight hunger. Hauser Canned Food Drive Flyer 2018
This year, we are expanding our efforts and Hauser is partnering with Outreach, Inc. to co-host a “Feed Our Community Day” where we will pack meals to donate. We will be collecting donations of can/non-perishable food items as well as monetary donations. Monetary donations will be used to purchase food and support the “Feed Our Community Day.” The food we collect and the meals we prepare will go to the Riverside Township Food Pantry, the Salvation Army Red Shield Center Food Pantry in Englewood, and local residents in need.
So, when you come to Games Night, bring cans of food or a monetary donation to HELP HAUSER FIGHT HUNGER!
