This Thursday at 6pm is the Science Fair. Not too late to participate!

Bring out the scientist in your child and be a part of the Blythe Park’s Science Fair to be held at 6:00pm this Thursday, April 30th prior to Spring Open House at 6:30pm.  If you are still interested in participating, please sign-up going to the right bar at www.blytheparkpta.org and clicking on the science night button.

Need to Know Details:

Students will conduct their own science experiment at home to either display or demonstrate at the Science Fair. Each student’s display will be set-up on a card table. There will be no judging. Each student will receive a participation award. Students may work individually or in a group of no more than two students. Each participating student will be required to follow the five steps of the Scientific Method and complete and bring the Scientific Method worksheet with their experiment. Participation is optional.

The Incentive to Participate Is Back!

If 30 or more students participate in the Science Night, Mrs. Gaynor and Mrs. Ford will run an additional “Science and a Sandwich” program.   All participating students, will be invited to conduct a cool science experiment during lunch.

Display Board Available

Half-size display boards will be available at the school. PTA has ordered boards and will be offering them to science night participants for the low cost of $2.00.  If you are interested in a half-size board, please check that box on your RSVP.
